General Conditions (beta)

Free of charge, the Kiwivid site enables all subscribers to host videos and supplies the KiwiPlayer technology making it possible to send the hosted videos to visitors.

Upon completion of the subscription process, the user accesses a strictly personal hosting space for which only he is responsible. Remember that the user must give correct information when he subscribes; Otherwise he may violate the present General User Conditions.

When a video is posted on his space, the user must realize that the contents are available and that he has posted the video for viewing by visitors to the site. In particular, the user is warned that he must respect copyrights and all legal and regulatory constraints applicable to Internet content.

More precisely, he acknowledges that as author or proxy, he has all rights, notably related to scenario, music, texts, images, soundtrack and realization of videos posted on the site, as well as all rights related to the transfer of rights as described in the following paragraph.

Concerning videos uploaded during use of Kiwivid services, the user authorizes Kiwivid for an unlimited period to make whatever technical modifications that are necessary for their viewing or communication, and to circulate them for viewing without volume limits or locality restrictions, via all currently existing technologies. In exchange, it is hereby agreed that the user recovers all rights previously transferred to Kiwivid, solely for the video, as soon as it has been deleted from its storage space.

During the subscription process, the user is informed that his personal information is recorded in a data bank of which Kiwivid is sole proprietor, including content. The user is reminded that, regarding this personal information, he has the right to access, modify, rectify and delete this information by simple e-mail contact. The kiwivid site is registered with the CNIL under the number (currently being matriculated).

As host only, the Kiwivid site does not bear the responsibility of a content editor. In particular, it cannot be held responsible for content on the space allocated to its members.

By subscribing to hosting or by simply using the services as a visitor, the user acknowledges and accepts the present terms of the General Conditions of Use.

The Kiwivid site is currently in beta development phase and cannot guarantee subscribers and visitors any availability or functions of service, transmission and recording their data.

The present General Conditions of Use will undergo rapid and significant changes. The definitive version will be automatically offered to members who have already subscribed.
